PUNE: Defending champion Finecab Hyderabad Strikers retained the Tennis Premier League (TPL) 2022 title defeating Mumbai Leon Army 41-32 in the final of the 4th Tennis Premier League held here Monday.

In the women’s singles, Conny Perrin of Hyderabad Strikers crushed Aakansha Nitture of Mumbai Leon Army 13-7 to put her side in the lead.

Pune will host the fourth season of the Tennis Premier League to be held from December 7 to 11, the organisers said on Wednesday. Backed by the All India Tennis Association (AITA) and Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA), the league will be conducted at Balewadi Stadium in the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex.

MUMBAI: To cater to the growing popularity of tennis and to give a platform to the nation’s young talent, Tennis Premier League (TPL), Wednesday announced dates for its second edition. TPL will be held from December 12 to 15 at the Celebration Sports Club in Andheri, Mumbai. A total of eight teams featuring 88 players, across categories, will be in action.
