PUNE: The franchise based Tennis Premier League (TPL) is returning for its fourth season later this year. The competition is set to begin on December 7 and conclude on December 11. 

The tournament will take place in Pune at the Balewadi Stadium. In the fourth season of Tennis Premier League, eight franchises will compete for the trophy: Bengaluru Spartans, Chennai Stallions, Delhi Binny’s Brigade, Finecab Hyderabad Strikers, Gujarat Panthers, Mumbai Leon Army and Pune Jaguars. 

One franchise will soon be announced, the organisers declared.

MUMBAI: Green Gold Animation, the studio behind the much loved "Chhota Bheem" series, has signed up with the Indian tennis legend Leander Paes for an animation series on his life story, tentatively titled "Little Leander". This animated original will be based on Leander’s life, the challenges and his childhood  experiences during his journey to become a tennis star and global icon.

TPL will be held from December 12 to 15 at the Celebration Sports Club in Andheri, Mumbai. A total of eight teams featuring 88 players, across categories, will be in action.
