Balewadi Stadium

PUNE: The franchise based Tennis Premier League (TPL) is returning for its fourth season later this year. The competition is set to begin on December 7 and conclude on December 11. 

The tournament will take place in Pune at the Balewadi Stadium. In the fourth season of Tennis Premier League, eight franchises will compete for the trophy: Bengaluru Spartans, Chennai Stallions, Delhi Binny’s Brigade, Finecab Hyderabad Strikers, Gujarat Panthers, Mumbai Leon Army and Pune Jaguars. 

One franchise will soon be announced, the organisers declared.

PUNE: India’s Rohan Bopanna and Ramkumar Ramanathan have received a direct entry into the doubles main draw at the fourth edition of Tata Open Maharashtra, organised by the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) and scheduled at the Balewadi Stadium in Pune from January 31 to February 6.

MUMBAI: Reigning Indian Super league champions Bengaluru FC has enlisted the Balewadi Stadium in Pune as the venue for its home games for the coming season. Just to be clear, this does NOT mean that The Blues will be shifting base out of India's software capital.

MUMBAI: The former CEO of Kerala Blasters, Varun Tripuraneni, is reportedly the prime mover behind the new management and ownership that will run the affairs of the  struggling Indian Super League franchise FC Pune City, which will also be shifting base to Hyderabad under a new name.
