CARLSBAD, Calif.: Callaway Golf Company announced Tuesday that 17-year-old golf phenomenon Akshay Bhatia has joined its Tour staff.
The Indian origin American teenager officially turned professional last week, and he will play Callaway equipment on Tour.
Bhatia, who had a dominant amateur golf career, will make his professional debut this week at the 2019 Sanderson Farms Championship at the Country Club of Jackson. He has previously played in PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour events as an amateur.
