Olympic boxing: Asian qualifiers pushed to March

NEW DELHI: The Asia/Oceania Olympic boxing qualifying event, which was scheduled to be held in Wuhan from February 3 to 14, has been cancelled due to coronavirus outbreak.

The Boxing Task Force (BTF), constituted by the International Olympic Committee, and the Chinese Olympic Committee (COC) jointly announced the decision Thursday

BFI offers to host Olympic qualifiers after Wuhan dropped
NEW DELHI: The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) has offered to host next month''s Olympic Qualifying Tournament, which has been cancelled in the Chinese city of Wuhan following the outbreak of coronavirus. The qualifiers are scheduled from February 3 to 15 but the schedule has now become uncertain following the health crisis in China, which has so far claimed 17 lives and infected over 550 people.
