MUMBAI: The Indian cricket team is reportedly set to take on South Africa in a 5-match T20I series some ten days after the IPL is done and dusted. 

As per Cricbuzz, which reported on the development, the T20I series against South Africa will will be held from June 9 to 19. "This is part of the FTP and there were always to be played after the IPL," a BCCI official told the cricket website.

BCCI looking to host 2 T20I series ahead of World T20: report
MUMBAI: The BCCI is reportedly looking to invite international teams for two short T20I tours before the World T20 that India is scheduled to host in October. Reason: so that the Virat Kohli-led side 'remains in touch with the format'. The BCCI is in touch with its counterparts in South Africa and New Zealand to figure out the modalities, The Times of India reports.
