MUMBAI: Match No. 32 of IPL 2022 between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, which was shifted from MCA Stadium in Pune to Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai due to COVID-19 outbreak in the DC team, finally went ahead on schedule. 

The developments came even as a second overseas player of Delhi Capitals tested positive. This came just hours ahead of the team's game against Punjab Kings. 

New Zealand's Tim Seifert tested positive after a Rapid Antigen Test conducted on Wednesday afternoon, making it the sixth such case in the camp.

MUMBAI: The Delhi Capitals team has been put under quarantine in the wake of a franchise player reportedly testing positive for COVID-19. The team's physio Patrick Farhart had earlier been isolated after testing positive.   The development has forced the cancellation of the team's scheduled travel to Pune Monday, ahead of their next IPL 2022 fixture against Punjab Kings on Wednesday.

NEW DELHI: England have had to cancel their travel to India for the double-header FIH Pro League matches scheduled for 2nd and 3rd April in Bhubaneswar due to several members of its women's team testing positive for Covid-19, while some were unavailable due to injuries in the squad.  However, scheduled games between the Indian men's team and the English will be played as per schedule.
