GROVE, England: Williams Racing has been acquired by US-based private investment firm Dorilton Capital, bringing a successful conclusion to the Strategic Review which was launched in late May.
The sale of the former Formula One champions marks the end of an era for the struggling family-owned team. With its new owner, Williams Racing is now well positioned to capitalise upon the sweeping rule changes coming into Formula1 with the new Concorde Agreement.
