ZEE MEDIA CORPORATION LIMITED (ZMCL) has announced its entry into the gaming and esports sector with the launch of its first competitive tournament, the Zee Media Gaming Tournament: Arena of Champions.
With gaming emerging as one of India’s fastest-growing entertainment segments, this initiative reinforces Zee Media’s ambition to build deeper engagement with Gen Z and millennial audiences, key drivers of India’s digital consumption boom.
The tournament features a prize pool of Rs 10 lakh and will be delivered in partnership with Glazer Games as execution partner and Thryl as the registration platform. Arena of Champions will offer a professional esports experience comprising structured gameplay, live commentary, digital streaming and fan interaction. Registrations open on 3 November.
