MUMBAI: Indian esports team ReckoninG Esports has partnered with Irony Inc. as its commercial partner.
As part of this agreement, Irony Inc. will be responsible for the brand building, fan engagement, and commercialization of the ReckoninG Esports team, as well as the assets of its parent organization Yuvin Esports.
Founded in 2016 by former DOTA 2 player Sharang Naicker, ReckoninG Esports is popular in the ASEAN region with squads in DOTA 2, COD-Mobile, Valorant, and CS:GO. The team’s roster boasts of players not just from India, but also South East Asia.
The team is currently made up of players from three countries – and fans in almost every ASEAN nation. ReckoninG also boasts of a fully functional gaming lounge, named the ReckoninG Ezone, in Mumbai as well as a fully functional training house for pro-players. Yuvin organizes the prestigious cross-border Yuvin Community Cup (YCC), which will run for a third season starting Monday, 22nd March.

Irony Inc was founded by entrepreneur and digital marketing veteran Ankit Bhatia and Tushaar Garg – an international sports and esports business professional, formerly with IMG.
