Sony’s ‘Colour Me Blue’ series celebrates women cricketers

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Sports Network (SPSN) launches “Colour Me Blue”, a five-episode series that features the empowered women in the world of cricket. 

Premiering on International Women’s Day, Sunday, 8th March, 8 PM onwards on SONY SIX and SONY TEN 3 channels, Colour Me Blue celebrates the spirit of womanhood and sportsmanship.

‘COLOUR ME BLUE’, hosted by feature film, television, and theatre actress Aahana Kumra, focuses on the lives of some of India’s and the world’s finest female cricketers, who are an inspiration to young girls across the country. 

The series will feature top Indian women cricketers Harmanpreet Kaur, captain of India’s T20I team, Smriti Mandhana, Jhulan Goswami, Jemimah Rodrigues, Anjum Chopra and Isa Guha along with international stars like Meg Lanning, Ellyse Perry, Nida Dar and Mel Jones. 

Aahana Kumra embarks on a heart-to-heart with the ladies of the sport as she travels to the homes of the women cricketers for an interactive fun chat with them, their families, friends and people who have influenced them in their playing careers.

Watch the first episode on Sunday, 8PM onwards on SONY SIX and SONY TEN 3 channels featuring Harmanpreet Kaur, captain of India’s T20I.
