MADRID: The official Real Madrid “Skill” is now available on Alexa. The LaLiga club has launched the Amazon virtual voice service with the e-commerce giant.
Users will be able to ask Alexa about all the latest club news, with the service directing fans to the content on the official Realmadrid.com website.
Alexa will respond to fans’ requests in the form of audio files and will provide access to videos, news stories, daily news summaries, as well as offering the option to tune into Realmadrid TV.
Real Madrid are the first Spanish club to launch an official skill in the Amazon store, where it is available free of charge.
Besides Real Madrid, Liverpool FC is the other European club to have launched an Amazon Alexa skill.
The NBA has launched Alexa Skills for all its teams, while the NFL Alexa Skill can teach beginner fans the basic rules of football. Both Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League have also created activations for Amazon’s voice assistant.
