MUMBAI: India Poker Championship (IPC) will kick-start on January 14 and will continue up to January 19, 2020.
The championship will take place at Big Daddy Casino, Goa. Organised by Spartan Poker, the event has a guaranteed prize pool of Rs 50 million. There also would a ‘main event’, touted as the main attraction of the championship. The winner of this event would be crowned as India’s Poker Champion 2020.
Spartan Poker has also scheduled the online edition of the IPC that is India Online Poker Championship 2020 (IOPC) from January 24 to February 09, 2020 at SpartanPoker.com. Previously, the guaranteed prize pool of the online tournament was Rs 110 million but this year the prize pool is set at Rs 160 million.
Furthermore, there will also be an award ceremony held on January 14 to felicitate the winners of the 2019 IOPC.
