MUMBAI: Star India is launching an animated series – Super ‘V’ – based around Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli.
The 12-episode series will premiere on 5th November and will air every Sunday.
In India, the series will air at 9 am on Star Plus, Star Sports, Disney, Marvel HQ, and Hotstar. Star Sports, Disney and Marvel HQ will telecast it at 12 noon followed by a repeat airing at 4 pm on Star Plus and Star Sports.
Super V has been produced as a collaboration between Star India, Cornerstone Animation (a subsidiary of Kohli’s management company Cornerstone Sport and Entertainment Pvt Ltd) and Baweja Movies.
The series was commissioned in 2017 and its first season airs on Star Plus, Disney, Star Sports, Marvel HQ and Hotstar in India and across 17 international territories including US, Canada, UK, Middle East, South East Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
