MUMBAI: JetSynthesys, a digital entertainment and gaming company, announced the celebration of Sachin Tendulkar’s 46th birthday Wednesday on the official mobile game
Sachin Saga Cricket Champions and 100MB.
This year, JetSynthesys presented an opportunity for fans to come together and participate in this digital birthday bash and stand a chance to win some special rewards and even an opportunity to interact live with the cricket legend.
For the first time, the official mobile game ‘Sachin Saga Cricket Champions’ hosted an exclusive ‘Legendary Premier League’ contest in two different modes in the game. Fans in India, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and more were able to play the ‘Legend Mode’ and the ‘T20 Birthday Bash’ PlayOffs to win in-game rewards, game merchandise and virtual reality headsets to play the VR version of the same game.
With the IPL craze and frenzy at an all-time high this month, fans could download the game on the App Store and “step into the shoes of Tendulkar” to put their skills to test. While the in-game contests allowed players to win prizes, all cricket enthusiasts could engage in a series of fun trivia contests on radio and social media.
As a part of the activation, the Master Blaster also engaged in a LIVE Q&A chat session with fans on 100MB (a joint venture between JetSynthesys and SRT10 Sports).
In a related development, fans and people from different sports fields wished him on the occasion. Social media, specially Twitter, was overflowing with wishes for the Master Blaster with hashtags like — ‘Happy Birthday Sachin’ and ‘God of Cricket’.
