Fast&Up annnounces major India retail expansion

MUMBAI: Aeronutrix Sports Product Pvt Ltd, India distributors of Swiss brand Fast&Up, has announced a major retail expansion of its sports and health nutrition products.

Fast&Up products are currently available as a pilot project on the shelves of around 20 Noble Plus stores in the city and the plan is to make them available across the entire chain pan India. Extending beyond Noble Plus, Fast&Up will soon be seen in a few more chains in the city, the company states.

The pan India retail roll out of the product will be done in phases. In the first phase the brand will have its product made available in 250 stores in the “unorganized nutrition store network”, with the target being to take it up to over 600 by the end of March.

The overall vision of the brand is to cater to the larger and generally active living consumer base. The brand also has plans to spread their physical distribution network into cities like Bengaluru and Delhi where Fast&Up already has a good customer base.

Fast&Up’s distribution network is structured around 3 channels of sale – online, institutional and retail. The former two have proven to be a critical source of strength for growth in the first two years for the brand.

Vijayaraghavan Venugopalan, CEO, Aeronutrix Sports Products Private Limited, shared his vision on the latest expansion, stating: “Fast&Up is a critically acclaimed sports and active nutrition brand. Also, appreciated and whole heartedly accepted by many health professionals and sports celebrities. We think, it was time to extend our reach and spread out to larger audience who are into active living and by being physically available at retail store within the customer’s proximity will help us in fulfilling our aim. We expect to spread our distribution up to 600 plus retail stores by the end of March. We also have further plans to enter into modern trade as well as identified pharmacy network.”
