LONDON: Formula 1 launched its first ever official podcast ‘Beyond The Grid’ on Tuesday, partnering with spoken-word audio platform Audioboom.
Audio equipment designer and retailer Bose is the podcast’s presenting sponsor. The podcast can be heard on demand and is free of cost for fans anywhere in the world.
Beyond the Grid will be hosted by F1 pundit, Tom Clarkson in which he will be seen delivering ti F1 fans new, interesting insights courtesy in-depth conversations with the biggest names of the sport from the present or the past, be it drivers or team managers or owners for example.
Compelling stories and anecdotes are expected to make this podcast a well-accepted innovation.
The first episode of the show was released on Wednesday and it featured defending world champion Lewis Hamilton who spoke on a wide range of topics such as his ambitions, faith, travel, life after F1 and his dog’s modelling career. The show was distributed across major podcast platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Deezer, TuneIn and Stitcher as well as the official Formula 1 website and YouTube channel.
Future episodes are also expected to include a series of round table discussions with former drivers and F1 insiders as well.
