PSL 3 profit $5m+: PCB chief

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Najam Sethi has said the third edition of Pakistan Super League delivered a profit of over $5 million for the PCB.

“This time round [in third edition], we are expecting over $5 million as profit,” Sethi told reporters here Monday, adding that for the next PSL edition, other venues such as Pindi Cricket Stadium, are also being considered for holding some matches.

Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper quotes Sethi as having said that in the second edition of PSL, the profit was close to $3 million.
