NEW DELHI: Spain’s LaLiga is aiming to organise a friendly match involving its clubs in India in the near future, country head Jose Cachaza has revealed.
“Our plan, in the future, would also be to manage a LaLiga team coming to India to play a friendly match. I cannot forecast a date but it is definitely in our plans,” Cachaza told Goal.com.
When asked if LaLiga was in contact with Indian football clubs, he told the football website, “As LaLiga, we have good relations with ISL; it helps those teams to go to Spain for pre-season matches. The relationship is existent but it is not a formal relationship or an agreement with LaLiga. We are in contact with them to see how can we help them.”
