F1, Disney to flag off ‘Mickey & Friends’ collaboration in 2026

Formula 1 and Disney have announced a new collaboration with Mickey & Friends in the high-speed world of F1 that will be flagged off from 2026.

Mickey Mouse, one of Disney’s most beloved and recognizable characters, and fans can look forward to seeing Mickey & Friends in F1 through experiences, content, and merchandise around the globe.

Formula 1 has recently seen significant growth among younger fans, with over four million children aged 8–12 following the sport in the EU and the US. Additionally, 54% of F1’s TikTok followers and 40% on Instagram are under 25.

This partnership is built on both brands’ focus on creativity, entertainment, and innovation, with the goal of engaging fans worldwide through distinctive experiences.

Formula 1 chief commercial officer Emily Prazer said: “Our collaboration with Disney is set to be a brilliant one, as we introduce the world of Mickey & Friends to our fans, and vice versa. It fits perfectly with our strategy to step outside the world of sport and into a broader consumer market, and in return, we’re introducing Disney to our 820 million fans worldwide.
