Samsung promotes Brigitte Slattery to lead TV Plus in APac

Samsung TV has promoted Brigitte Slattery to Regional head of Samsung TV Plus for Asia Pacific.

Slattery, who brings extensive experience from senior roles at Network Ten, Foxtel, HBO, and NBCUniversal, will oversee content, operations, product, and marketing across six key markets: India, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.

Reporting to Salek Brodsky, Samsung’s global head of TV Plus, she will help drive continued growth of the platform, which now boasts 88 million monthly active users globally and over 50% year-on-year growth in viewing time.

Alongside Slattery’s appointment, Samsung has strengthened its regional team with key hires and promotions. Samantha Cooke is now head of marketing and analytics for Samsung Ads Southeast Asia and Oceania, while Virgile Edragas steps in as head of data and analytics for APAC. Additionally, Alex Smith joins from Nielsen to support Samsung’s involvement in the Video Futures Collective and other industry efforts.

Slattery expressed her excitement about the new role: “Excited to share that I’ve stepped into a new role as Regional Head of Samsung TV Plus for Asia Pacific.
