SONY PICTURES NETWORKS INDIA (SPNI), which holds media rights to broadcast all Asian Cricket Council (ACC) tournaments until 2031, has set steep advertising rates for the Asia Cup 2025, with India–Pakistan fixtures commanding the highest demand.
According to The Economic Times, TV ads for India matches have been priced between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 16 lakh per 10 seconds. The tournament will air on Sony Sports Network and stream live on SonyLIV.
Ad packages on TV:
* Co-presenting sponsorship: Rs 18cr
* Associate sponsorship: Rs 13cr
* Spot-buy package (all India and non-India games): Rs 16 lakh per 10 seconds, or Rs 4.48cr
Digital deals on SonyLIV:
* Co-presenting and highlights partner: Rs.30 crore each
* Co-powered-by package: Rs.18 crore
* 30 per cent of all digital ads are reserved for India matches
Ad rates by format:
* Pre-rolls: Rs.275 per 10 seconds (Rs.500 for India games; Rs.750 for India-Pakistan games)
* Mid-rolls: Rs.225 (Rs.400 for India games; Rs.600 for India-Pakistan games)
* Connected TV ads: Rs.450 (Rs.800 for India games; Rs.1,200 for India-Pakistan games)
ACC sponsors:
* The Asian Cricket Council has already brought in sponsors such as DP World as title sponsor, while Wonder Cement, Spinny, and Groww have signed on as global sponsors.
* Official partners include Royal Stag Packaged Drinking Water, Haier, Daikin, and Ozone.
Media agencies estimate these deals to be worth between Rs 10cr and Rs 20cr each.
