BANK OF AMERICA has announced a multi-year agreement with global sports icon, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Sir David Beckham, who will serve as an ambassador for its worldwide sports initiative, ‘Sports with Us’.
Under the partnership, Beckham will help spotlight the bank’s growing portfolio of sports collaborations, encompassing brands and events designed to champion progress, celebrate achievement, and strengthen communities.
The program builds on the bank’s investment in sport, supporting initiatives that foster youth participation, well-being, and opportunity across the United States while also delivering meaningful economic benefits. From 2026 onwards, Bank of America will back major global sporting moments, among them the FIFA World Cup 26, the Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America, the Masters Tournament and Augusta National Women’s Amateur, and the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
Beckham’s partnership with the bank has been facilitated through Authentic Brands Group (Authentic), which co-owns and manages his brand. Authentic Live, the company’s live events division, will also support Bank of America by delivering event operations across several key U.S. sports properties.
Beckham said, “Sport has the power to bring people together and to create a lasting impact on young people and communities all over the world. I’ve seen firsthand how programs such as Sports with Us make real change and allow access and opportunities that are vital in our communities. I applaud Brian Moynihan and his team’s long-term plans to use sports as a vehicle for change. I’m inspired by their efforts which have made me reflect on my own experiences both in sport and through my work with organisations like UNICEF. I am proud to partner with Bank of America to extend this work and use my platform to shine a light on their incredible and impactful Sports with Us programming.”
Bank of America president, marketing, digital and specialized consumer client solutions David Tyrie added, “Sir David’s work to support communities around the world and his passion for helping others excel, achieve and participate in sports are second to none. He shares our drive to connect and empower people through sport. With Sir David’s help, we’ll accelerate change and invest where it matters most.”
