BAJAJ AUTO LIMITED, in partnership with the Pune District and the Government of Maharashtra, has announced that it will become the title sponsor of the Pune Grand Tour, India’s first UCI 2.2 approved, multi-day, multi-stage international cycling road race.
Conceptualised by the Pune District Collector and backed by the state government, the Bajaj Pune Grand Tour marks India’s formal entry into the global cycling circuit under the UCI 2.2 category. Scheduled from 19 to 23 January 2026, the four-stage event will be held under the aegis of the Cycling Federation of India (CFI), the Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC), and the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).
The 2026 edition will host continental teams and national federations competing over a 437-kilometre course, aiming to secure a long-term place for Pune and India on the UCI’s international cycling calendar.
