Idemitsu Moto4 Asia Cup enters a new era with expanded talent

2026 IDEMITSU MOTO4 ASIA CUP is set for an exciting new chapter as riders from six nations prepare to compete for top honours. This year’s grid will feature 14 fresh talents selected through a successful evaluation event, joining several returning contenders, including Noprutpong Bunprawes and Teerin Fleming.

The line-up represents Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and Thailand, making for a highly competitive field. Riders will hit the track for the first time during pre-season testing on 9–10 February.

The championship will run across five rounds alongside MotoGP, with Thailand hosting the season opener from 27 February to 1 March. The second round follows at the Lusail International Circuit in April.

Details for Round 3 are yet to be confirmed, after which the season shifts into high gear. Round 4 will take place at Mobility Resort Motegi in Japan, followed just a week later by a visit to Indonesia’s Mandalika International Circuit. The season will conclude in Malaysia, with the final round scheduled at Sepang from 30 October to 1 November.
