KABADDI CHAMPIONS LEAGUE (KCL) has announced the match schedule for its inaugural season, setting the stage for a celebration of Haryana’s deep-rooted kabaddi heritage.
The first edition of the KCL will be hosted at the Sports University of Haryana in Rai and will run from 25 January to 7 February. League-stage matches will be played across three prime-time slots: 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm offering fans a full evening of kabaddi action, both live at the venue and across Zee channels, DD Sports, YupTV and the Wave OTT platform.
The league will get underway with a opening day featuring two clashes: Sonipat Stars vs Gurugram Gurus, followed by Rohtak Royals vs Karnal Kings. The knockout stage will see the semi-finals played on 6 February, with the grand final scheduled for 7 February.
Across 12 days of competition, eight franchises: Sonipat Stars, Gurugram Gurus, Hisar Heroes, Bhiwani Bulls, Rohtak Royals, Karnal Kings, Panipat Panthers and Faridabad Fighters will compete in a league format. Fans can expect marquee encounters, emerging rivalries and fiercely contested matches as teams vie for a place in the knockouts and the honour of becoming the first-ever KCL champions.
