SBI LIFE INSURANCE has appointed Indian cricketers Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja as its new brand ambassadors, unveiling them as ‘Jolly’ and ‘Polly’: two distinctive characters designed to inspire individuals to pursue their ambitions while ensuring their family responsibilities remain financially secure.
Rooted in the brand philosophy ‘Apne Liye, Apno Ke Liye’, Jolly and Polly reflect a powerful yet simple insight: personal dreams and family obligations are not mutually exclusive. By safeguarding the financial needs and aspirations of loved ones, individuals are empowered to chase their own goals with confidence and peace of mind.
‘Jolly’, portrayed by Pant, symbolises instinct, optimism and the courage to embrace life fully. Through his character, the campaign highlights that financial planning is not a limitation on freedom, but a means of protecting and enabling it. In contrast, ‘Polly’, personified by Jadeja, represents calmness, assurance and long-term perspective. He brings clarity to conversations around preparedness, reinforcing the idea that responsible planning strengthens both personal ambition and family security.
As part of the campaign, SBI Life has launched two television commercials. The first follows a young woman who chooses to pursue a career in wrestling, prompting concern within her family. Jolly and Polly help reframe the discussion by demonstrating how financial protection through SBI Life gives the family confidence and allows her to follow her passion. The second TVC centres on a man who decides to transition into practising women’s rights law, raising questions about his family’s financial future. Through Jolly and Polly, the narrative underscores that when a family’s financial foundation is secure, individuals are free to pursue purpose-driven careers that create meaningful impact.
