The academy has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Coaching Beyond Cricket Academy, founded by esteemed cricket personalities Shri Ravi Shastri, Shri B Arun, and Shri R. Sridhar, former Team India coaches.
Situated near Cuttack, Odisha, MGM School of Sports epitomizes a commitment to promoting a culture of high-performance cricket in the state. This state-of-the-art residential academy, a subsidiary of MGM Minerals Ltd., boasts world-class infrastructure including international-standard cricket grounds, indoor
arenas, gymnasiums, and more.
The collaboration with Coaching Beyond Cricket Academy is poised to elevate the standards of cricket coaching in Odisha by bringing in the expertise and experience of some of the most renowned names in Indian cricket. SL Venkatapathy Raju, former Indian Test cricketer, joins the team as a consultant coach.
To mark the commencement of this partnership, MGM School of Sports will select up to 50 promising young male cricketers through a “transparent process”. These selected individuals will receive high-performance training at a subsidized fee, with plans to expand opportunities for both male and female cricketers in the future.
