RISE sells out virtual ads for India-Eng white-ball series; signs rising star Kamalini

RISE Worldwide has achieved a complete sell-out of the England and Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) virtual advertising inventory for India’s ongoing white-ball tour of England, while also signing teenage cricket sensation G. Kamalini as its first female athlete under its talent management division.

The company said in a media release that it has fully commercialised the ECB’s digital and virtual advertising inventory for the eight-match white-ball series comprising five T20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals between England and India. The inventory was completely sold out ahead of the series, underlining the growing demand for virtual advertising during marquee international cricket events.

The line-up of advertisers includes Hero MotoCorp, MakeMyTrip, CP PLUS, Kingfisher and Groww, with RISE Worldwide adopting a curated approach to onboard brands that align with the ECB’s premium commercial positioning. Virtual advertising enables market-specific branding during live broadcasts, allowing different advertisements to be displayed to viewers in different territories without altering the physical stadium environment.

The achievement builds on RISE Worldwide’s long-term partnership with the ECB, under which the agency exclusively manages digital and virtual sponsorship sales in India for selected international series hosted in England through 2026. The partnership, announced in 2024, followed similar collaborations between RISE and Cricket Australia, positioning the company as one of the leading commercial partners for virtual inventory monetisation in international cricket.

In a separate announcement, RISE Worldwide signed 17-year-old India cricketer G. Kamalini as its newest talent, marking the first female athlete to join the agency’s talent management portfolio. Under the exclusive representation agreement, RISE will oversee Kamalini’s commercial endorsements, strategic partnerships, licensing, appearances, digital content and long-term brand development.

Kamalini has emerged as one of India’s brightest young cricket prospects. The Tamil Nadu batter was a key member of India’s victorious squad at the 2025 ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, where she finished among the tournament’s leading run-scorers. She also became the youngest player to debut in the Women’s Premier League after being signed by Mumbai Indians at the age of 16 and later earned her maiden India call-up, making her international debut in 2025. Most recently, she was named in India’s squad for the 2026 Asian Games, further cementing her reputation as one of the country’s most promising young talents.

With Kamalini’s addition, RISE Worldwide’s cricket talent roster now includes several of India’s biggest names, including Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma and Sai Sudharsan.
