Callaway Golf India Tuesday launched the country’s first Golf Fitting Center at the Karnataka Golf Association (KGA) in Bengaluru.
Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev inaugurated the facility at the KGA in the presence of Callaway Golf India country manager Prashant Singh.
This state-of-the-art performance center is a significant milestone for Callaway Golf India, aiming to foster the growth of golf in South India. With the sports market in the region on the rise, Callaway seeks to lead the way in this dynamic evolution.
Bengaluru was a strategic choice for the facility’s location, given Callaway’s strong and long-standing partnership with KGA. The center’s accessibility to golfers across India, especially from neighboring cities like Chennai, Mysore, Hyderabad, and Mangalore, played a crucial role in the decision. Bengaluru’s pleasant weather and the golfers’ openness to embracing the latest technology made it an ideal destination.

Spanning 700 square feet, the performance center boasts several unique features. It is India’s first fully equipped fitting center offering a wide range of in-line clubheads and diverse options for shafts and grips. The center offers a comprehensive selection of Callaway products, including clubs and Odyssey putters, for personalized fittings. Cutting-edge technology, including a fitting launch monitor, Foresight, and the Callaway technology Engage, aids golfers in determining the most suitable equipment for their game.
The center also houses a team of skilled Callaway trainers, providing golfers with a holistic fitting experience. In a customer-friendly approach, the facility offers fitting services at a nominal charge, ensuring consumers receive advice on the right set of equipment. Golfers can also explore options for Travis Mathew gloves and apparel, and the center showcases an exclusive bespoke collection.
