MUMBAI: One of the most iconic football rivalries – ElClasico – is back as table toppers FC Barcelona face second-placed Real Madrid in the LaLiga 2022/23 clash at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, October 16.
In efforts to enhance the viewing experience of one of the most high-profile clashes, Viacom18 Sports will look to deliver a comprehensive viewing experience to fans across the country in four languages.
On match day, the programming will start from 7:00 PM with a studio show ‘Football Goal’D Live’ that will feature LaLiga legend Patrick Kluivert giving his expert comments on the clash. The show will include live reporting from the public screening of ElClasico at Phoenix Market City, Kurla, Mumbai. The show will be hosted by Anant Tyagi who will be joined by Robin Singh and Jose R. Barreto.
The marquee fixture will be presented in English, Hindi, Bengali and Malayalam. Sports18 – 1, Sports18 – 1 HD will have English commentary while Anant Tyagi and Robin Singh will give viewers a taste of ElClasico in Hindi on Sports18 Khel.
Eldho Paul Puthussery and Sushanth Mathew will provide Malayalam commentary and Suman Chakraborty will be joined by Mehtab Hossain on the Bangla commentary desk. Jio Cinema will stream the match live in all the four languages.
