MUMBAI: Significant Sports Thursday announced a strategic partnership with Abu Dhabi T10 league franchise Northern Warriors for the upcoming tournament.
Capt Rashid Khan, founder, Significant Sports, said about the association: “We are glad to partner with the Northern Warriors team. Being in the field of sports marketing and management for over 10 years, we have always been a front-runner in sports events, where we not only promote different kinds of sports but also build new sports events in India and abroad.”
Khan will be heading strategic alliances for Northern Warriors, reigning champions of the T10 league.
Backed by the Moranis, the team is co-owned by Mohamed Morani. “I believe that the sports scenario for cricket is growing pretty fast now, especially with all our players doing so well at the World events,” Morani said.
Significant Sports will be looking after marketing and operations of the Northern Warrior team, and also has the mandate of improving audience experience.
Abu Dhabi T10 is a sports entertainment ten-over cricket league launched founded by Shaji Ul Mulk and owned by Indian company T10 Sports Management. The league is approved by the Emirates Cricket Board and the International Cricket Council.
Significant Sports has been associated with quite a few successful sport events previously too like the ISL, IPL, Pro-Kabaddi League, K1L, etc.
