MUMBAI: Blitzpools, among the ever growing list of fantasy sports platforms looking to make a play in the Indian market, has announced the signing of rising cricketers Ishan Kishan, Rahul Chahar, Shreyas Gopal and Wriddhiman Saha as brand ambassadors.
The cricketers will be an integral part of the 360-degree digital and offline campaign activation of Blitzpools, the freshly rebadged brand name for what was earlier Livepools Private Limited, which made its India bow in February 2018.
For the brand launch, Blitzpools has engaged celebrities and influencers alike who collectively claim a combined 215 million followers. On top of aligning with the brand launch, Blitzpools is looking to leverage the audience this will bring to the product ahead of the much awaited Indian Premier League season. Aside from the cricketers, celebrities promoting the launch include Sunny Leone, Urvashi Rautela, Natasia Stankovic and Mouni Roy.
With the rebrand and recent injection of capital as part of a recent majority investment from the international gaming brand IGT.BET (formerly i3 Inc.), players can now expect the product to deliver new features at a faster pace. Customers can experience these offerings while engaging with different cricket and football tournaments, played at domestic, national and international levels, an official release states.
