BAREFOOT INDIA will hold the latest edition of its sports quiz festival on 30–31 August at the India Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi. Organised in association with FanToPark, the twelfth edition of the annual festival will feature six themed sports quizzes.
The event brings together quizmasters from across the country to conduct quizzes on different sports, drawing enthusiastic participation from people of all ages and backgrounds, according to the release.
Launched in 2012, Barefoot was conceived to encourage people to discover more about sport than what is usually covered in newspapers and magazines. Now in its fourteenth year and twelfth edition, it continues to inspire participants to combine their passion for sport and trivia over two engaging days.
Speaking about this year’s edition, festival patron and leading figure in Indian quizzing, Joy Bhattacharjya said, “Barefoot is an event like no other. Year after year, it brings together sports enthusiasts from all over the country and sometimes from other countries for what is essentially a two day festival for all things sports and trivia. I am delighted to see the event grow and would like to extend a warm welcome to everyone sitting for the quizzes in this edition.”
