MUNICH: Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich has extended its partnership with streaming service Apple Music that had begun in 2017, till June 30, 2019.
Apple Music’s role has been to simplify access for the club’s and music fans to their favourite stars through exclusive content.
Music favored by the Bayern players and related playlists are made available on the club’s official website, and via the FC Bayern curator profile on Apple Music. In another offer, it was revealed that new customers can test Apple Music for 3 months without any subscription fees.
Apple Music formed a special playlist for Bayern Munich’s upcoming pre-season tour of the United States from July 23-29 called “Audi Summer Tour 2018”.
Available since 2015 for iOS, watchOS, OS X and an Android version in over 100 countries, the music streaming service currently has over 40 million subscribers and offers over 45 million songs.
The decision comes after the club had recently announced an extension of its contract with Beats by Dr. Dre, which is also a subsidiary of Apple, providing the German champions with headphones and loudspeakers.
