The BOARD OF CONTROL FOR CRICKET IN INDIA (BCCI) on Wednesday invited quotations for official partner rights for Women’s Premier League (WPL) through a tender process.
The BCCI has issued a Request for Quotations (RFQ) document outlining the detailed terms and conditions for submission and evaluation. Interested parties can access the RFQ upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs 1 lakh plus applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The last date to purchase the RFQ is 12 November, while queries and clarifications will be accepted until 14 November. The deadline for submitting proposal documents has been set for 21 November.
In addition, the BCCI has released a list of product categories that are currently blocked due to existing sponsorships, which include financial services and banking; passenger vehicles (four-wheelers); water solutions, water pipes and accessories; and nutrition.
The governing body has also reiterated that certain categories remain prohibited, including alcohol products; betting; cryptocurrency; real money gaming/ online money gaming; tobacco; and one which is likely to offend public morals such as, including but not limited to, pornography.
