BHARATPE has unveiled Super Over, a new nationwide campaign starring Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma, timed to coincide with the build-up to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The campaign draws on the high-pressure drama of cricket to highlight the importance of fast, dependable digital payments in everyday life.
As part of the initiative, BharatPe has released a brand film that captures India’s deep emotional bond with the sport while showcasing how UPI has become embedded in daily transactions across the country.
Super Over is a month-long engagement program aimed at encouraging regular usage of BharatPe UPI among both consumers and merchants. Users making transactions via BharatPe UPI stand to win daily rewards, including match tickets, autographed merchandise and an opportunity to watch a T20 World Cup fixture alongside Rohit Sharma. In addition, eligible transactions will earn assured Zillion Coins for both consumers and merchants.
BharatPe UPI is backed by BharatPe Shield, an end-to-end fraud protection layer designed to strengthen payment security through comprehensive coverage and dedicated support, enabling users to transact with greater confidence in an increasingly digital environment.
The Super Over campaign will be activated across digital platforms, social media and on-ground touchpoints, engaging audiences nationwide throughout the T20 World Cup season.
BharatPe head of marketing Shilpi Kapoor said, “Super Over reflects the aspirations of every Indian. They want speed, trust, consistency, the ability to perform under pressure, along with safety and assurance, both on and off the field. Just as fans expect Team India to perform in every match, they seek the same confidence in their UPI payments. With fast transactions supported by the safety net of BharatPe Shield and instant rewards, we are making everyday payments feel secure, reliable and rewarding.”
