MUMBAI: BigHit, a sports app designed for the entirety of the Indian sporting community will be hosting FC Bayern Youth Cup National Finals at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru (PJN) Stadium in Goa, running from September 5 through to September 7.
Hailing from 8 states and 28 cities, 16 teams of 240 players are participating for the National Finals.
As a preliminary effort, BigHit organised and hosted state-level tournaments in India for the National Finals. More than 7000 players showed up.
At the National Finals, 10 players will be scouted by FC Bayern legends and scouts. The sought out footballers will be travelling to Munich, Germany to represent India on a global scale; at the World Final 2023. They will also undergo a 5-day training camp at FC Bayern grounds including training sessions with FC Bayern International youth coaches. The final match will be held at Munich’s Olympic Stadium in October.
Global partner of FC Bayern Munich, Adidas is extending its support by providing essential sporting equipment like footballs and jerseys for the Youth Cup 2023. In the coming years, the world-famous apparel company intends to contribute and allocate budgets for holistic and extensive promotion of sports.

The FC Bayern Youth Cup is one of the oldest youth football tournaments hosted by a European football club, providing a great platform for young players to upskill themselves. The FC Bayern Youth Cup was launched in 2012 and takes place annually; in different countries every year. Since its inception, more than 100,000 players from 17 countries have participated. 26 former FC Bayern Youth Cup players moved on to signing a professional contract or got nominated for a national (youth) team. Also, 3 former FC Bayern Youth Cup players were promoted to Bayern’s international U19 team, FC Bayern World Squad.
BigHit will be hosting Season 2023 i.e. the 10th edition of FC Bayern Youth Cup in India. Together, FC Bayern and BigHit are searching for the best 10 players in the country, qualifying for the World Final 2023 in Munich.
