INDIAN OLYMPIC ASSOCIATION (IOA) has lauded the Indian contingent for their performance at the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, where the nation’s young athletes secured an impressive total of 48 medals across multiple disciplines.
This remarkable achievement reflects the growing strength and depth of India’s youth sporting ecosystem and stands as a testament to the athletes’ dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence. The IOA recognizes that such performances are the result of sustained effort, rigorous training, and the invaluable guidance provided by their coaches and support staff, per the IOA release.
To recognise these remarkable accomplishments, the IOA will soon host a special felicitation ceremony for all medal-winners, their coaches, and athletes who finished in fourth place. In addition, cash awards will be conferred as follows:
* Gold Medallists: Rs 5,00,000 each
* Silver Medallists: Rs 3,00,000 each
* Bronze Medallists: Rs 2,00,000 each
* 4th Position Finishers: Rs 50,000 each
* Coaches of Medal-Winning Athletes: Rs 1,00,000 each
* Kabaddi Boys’ and Girls’ Teams: Rs 10,00,000 each
