CEV and Sportradar launch new Volleyball OTT

VIENNA, Austria: The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) has agreed a deal with leading sports data company Sportradar to launch a new OTT service called eurovolley.tv

The launch of eurovolley.tv comes in conjunction with the start of the 4th Round / pool stage of the 2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League on November 20 and following those matches, the platform will also show CEV Volleyball, Beach Volleyball and Snow Volleyball competitions. 

Sportradar will also work with CEV to allow fans to access an archive of matches from past editions of the CEV Volleyball Champions League and other competitions; these will become available from early 2019.

The development of the OTT platform with further strengthens a relationship between the two organisations that stretches back over ten years.

Eurovolley.tv will cost €7.99 a month. Fans who register before December 31, 2018 will enjoy a free trial month.

Sportradar recently launched their next-level Sportradar OTT featuring a newly developed engine and core that connects Sportradar’s range of sports data with video capability. The latest OTT features fully integrated data and video, providing clients with an even greater and more refined ability to enhance the user experience, create content, engage with fans, increase audiences and therefore generate more revenue.

More than 25 partners have signed up to Sportradar’s sports media solutions within the last 18 months, complementing their existing OTT partners, including Borussia Dortmund, the WRC, Deutsche Telekom, LAOLA1.tv, ITF Davis Cup and Fed Cup, ITTF, EuroHockey and the IMMAF.
