TOKYO: The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has okayed a proposal by the organizing committee of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games to have two sponsors in the “Coffee Beans and Instant Coffee Powder/Granules” business category.
Global beverage giant Coca-Cola, who is one of the TOP partners of the Olympics, has expanded its partnership with Tokyo 2020, to be named as its official coffee supplier. Whereas the Tokyo-based Ajinomoto Co., Inc. will be sharing the rights with Coca-Cola for the same till 31 December 2020.
