MOSCOW: With Coca Cola continuing to be amongst the FIFA World Cup’s official sponsors, the American beverage brand is making the most out of the excitement that fans have for the tournament.
Some of these fans are collectors who are passionate about sticking, swapping and sharing the 416 World Cup players with the Panini Digital Sticker Album presented by the company.
According to numbers presented by FIFA, a whopping 835 million digital stickers have reached 6 million fans around the world, giving them a chance to win prizes such as the luxury hardbound physical editions of the completed 2018 album.
The album is available on all major platforms and for Android and IOS users.
Launched during the World Cup 2006 in Germany by Coca Cola, the album has become a digital sensation, being a part of Fantasy Football as well in which players can predict winners and their Dream Teams and Man of the Matches in the tournament. The 2018 edition will run till the end of August and has already eclipsed records of the previous editions of the tournament since completed digital albums are closing in on the 1-million mark.
