Comic Con India announces 2025 Delhi edition

COMIC CON INDIA, one of the country’s greatest pop-culture celebrations, has announced that its flagship event, Delhi Comic Con 2025–26, will be held from 5 to 7 December at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds in Okhla.

Since its launch in 2011, Delhi has served as the home and launchpad of Comic Con India, embracing fandom culture with elaborate cosplay showcases, vast comic book collections, fan meet-ups, exclusive merchandise, and immersive experiences. The most recent edition drew more than 52,000 visitors and featured stand-up performances by Ashish Solanki, Ravi Gupta, and Rohan Joshi, alongside live music from artists such as Panther and rapper Fotty Seven.

More than a traditional convention, Delhi Comic Con has evolved into an expansive fan celebration. The last edition offered gaming tournaments on PC and console, high-octane VR experiences such as McLaren-themed racing and Chandrayaan and Ocean Quest simulations, as well as photo booths, pop-up zones, and vibrant cosplay across genres like anime, comics, sci-fi, and gaming, according to the organisers’ release.

NODWIN Gaming co-founder and MD Akshat Rathee said, “Delhi will always be home for Comic Con India. This is where it all began in 2011, when a small group of fans, artists, and creators turned a simple idea into a cultural movement. Every year since, the city has given us the biggest stage and the loudest voice. You can feel the spirit of fandom everywhere, from comic book shops in Connaught Place to buzzing student festivals across campuses, and in the creativity of cosplayers and gamers who travel from all over the country to be here. For me, Delhi Comic Con is a humbling reminder of where we started and how far this community has come. This December, I can’t wait to see the capital once again transform into India’s biggest celebration of stories, characters, and imagination.”

Comic Con India CEO Shefali Johnson added, “Delhi Comic Con has always been close to my heart because of the fans who make it what it is. Every year I see people walk in with months of work behind their costumes, artists proudly showing their first printed comics, and groups of friends who plan the entire weekend around this festival. There is a warmth and excitement in Delhi that makes you feel like you are part of one big family. For me, the most special part is watching someone’s eyes light up when they find a story, a character, or a community that feels like home. That is what Delhi Comic Con is all about, and I cannot wait to see it come alive again this December.”
