NEW DELHI: A series of meetings between various state units of the BCCI and the Supreme Court-appointed amicus curiae, PS Narasimha on Wednesday, gave little hope to the associations wanting their way, The Hindu reports.
The meetings were held ahead of the Supreme Court hearing on Thursday on matters related to the implementation of the Lodha Committee recommendations.
According to the daily, state unit representatives were told to fall in line with recommendations without delay. Units not having submitted their compliance reports would not receive any funds from the board and the issues concerning cooling-off period and age-limit would not be reconsidered.
