MUMBAI: Rupinder Pal Singh, India’s drag-flick specialist and penalty corner expert, has signed up with Cornerstone Sport, the Mumbai-based brand consultant and talent representation agency.
Cornerstone will work with the hockey ace on the management of his brand endorsements, commercial engagements and appearances.
The Hockey stalwart hails from Faridkot in Punjab. He was 20 when he made his international debut at the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Ipoh, Malaysia, in May 2010. The Indian team won the tournament. Rupinder won the top-scorer award in the 2011 and 2013 editions of the same competition. He was a member of the Indian Hockey team that won the Gold at the Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, in 2014. He was also part of the Indian sides that won the Gold at the Asian Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy in 2011 and 2016. He has scored 77 international goals in 183 international games, so far.

Hockey is witnessing a resurgence in India, thanks to the consistency of the national team.
