MUMBAI: The 2020 edition of FICCI Frames, the annual media and entertainment event organized in India’s commercial capital by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, has been postponed until further notice in view of the public health concerns over coronavirus (COVID-19) and the recent advisory of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, which has recommended to avoid mass gatherings.
This is the second major media conclave to be shelved after the advertising, media and entertainment festival, Goafest, organized by the Advertising Club and the Advertising Agencies Association of India, was put on ice last week.
It bears noting that Italy, which has reported the highest number of fatalities outside of China and has virtually locked down much of the country’s north, had in December been announced as the Partner Country at FICCI FRAMES 2020.
