Delhi Comic Con returns 5 Dec; hosts PlayStation India Cup finale

DELHI COMIC CON is set to return from 5 to 7 December at the NSIC Exhibition Ground in Okhla, bringing global guests, energetic performances, vibrant cosplay and an array of interactive experience zones.

Delhi hosted India’s first-ever Comic Con in 2011, becoming a natural hub for fandom culture through comic book showcases, anime and manga stalls, skilled cosplayers, gaming zones, fan meet-ups and a variety of immersive experiences for creators and enthusiasts alike, per the media release.

Headlining this year’s international guest line-up is Chloé Hollings, the French-Australian actress best known as the voice of Widowmaker from Overwatch. She will be joined by acclaimed cosplayer and designer Eriza, noted for her award-winning builds that combine advanced electronics, plastics, dyeing techniques and meticulous craftsmanship. They will appear alongside 19 Indian creators, including comic writers, illustrators and storytellers, who will showcase their work and interact with fans.

Visitors can explore a diverse range of VR and interactive experiences, including the Maruti Suzuki Arena Zone, the Crunchyroll experience zone, Android BGMI Panfest, Lenovo Legion Gaming Zone, the Avatar: Fire & Ash Experience Zone and the Kinder Joy Experience Zone, each offering its own blend of entertainment, gaming and immersive storytelling.

Delhi Comic Con will also host the grand finale of the PlayStation India Cup, presented by PlayStation India and Nodwin Gaming. The tournament began with nationwide weekly qualifiers, followed by double-elimination playoffs involving 28 players in a best-of-two (home and away) format. The top competitors will now meet in the national finals, taking place on-site from 6 to 7 December in a LAN setting, continuing the same competitive structure as they vie for the championship.

The festival’s entertainment line-up includes stand-up performances by Aashish Solanki and Inder Sahani, as well as musical acts by rapper K!llswitch, singer-artist Celinedee Matahari, Nigerian-origin rapper Yung Sammy, musician MC Heam, Bollywood-fusion band KY Collective and magician Karan Singh.
