THE ESPORTS FOUNDATION will host the Esports Festival on the Champs-Élysées in Paris on August 2, transforming the avenue into a free, open-air public celebration of gaming and esports, co-created with the Comité Champs-Élysées. The event extends the Esports World Cup beyond its venue at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles into the heart of the city.
The festival will feature a main stage showdown involving the founders of France’s leading esports clubs alongside personalities from music, entertainment, and content creation, competing in Rocket League, Trackmania, and EA SPORTS FC 26. An interactive area will offer hands-on gaming activities, educational talks, and panel discussions with professional athletes.
The EWC 2026 also marks the largest-ever Indian representation at the tournament. S8UL and GodLike Esports were selected for the Esports Foundation’s Club Partner Program, competing across mobile, PC, and console titles including Chess. Other Indian organisations competing include Revenant Xspark, Global Esports, Orangutan, Apex Gaming, Total Gaming, and True Rippers. Chess also featured a dedicated India Rising qualifier held in Mumbai.
