MUMBAI: Fan engagement took on a whole new meaning Friday night as Lodha Altamount, arguably the toniest address in India’s commercial capital, played host to Manchester City’s Centurions Trophy Tour, presented by Etihad Airways.
For some perspective, the Trophy Tour concluded a successful trip to India (New Delhi and Pune were the two earlier stops) with its staging on Saturday morning at the Urban Sports Zone, Jankidevi Public School Versova, in Mumbai’s Andheri suburb, as the club continued its celebration of City’s stunning 2017/18 season success with fans around the globe.
So far the the Premier League and Carabao Cup trophies have been shown in Manchester, then farther afield in Brazil, Abu Dhabi, China, the US and more!
As well having their picture taken with the trophies, super high net worth clients of Etihad as well as potential property purchasers at Lodha Altamount were able to meet club legend Paul Dickov while savoring an evening soirée by St. Amand, the luxury service brand for select residences of the Lodha Group portfolio.
As for the price of the apartment wherein said soirée was held, cutting a Rs 500 million cheque would just about cover it.
All said and done though, it was the event at Jankidevi Public School that better represented a successful week for Manchester City in India.
On Sunday, the fan contact activation in Delhi was at the DLF Mall of India where alongside the Premier League and Carabao Cup trophies, City legend Joleon Lescott was also on hand to meet and great supporters.
There was also a City Live event at DLF CyberHub, Phase 2, Gurugram, with Joleon joining that event too.
On Wednesday the tour then moved on to Pune where fans again got the chance to have their picture taken with the trophies as well as having the chance to meet Dickov and win exclusive prizes.
From the super elite to the general public, City’s India Tour had it all.
