ESPORTS WORLD CUP FOUNDATION (EWCF) has confirmed 8 of the 16 competitive titles for the inaugural Esports Nations Cup 2026 (ENC), a nation-based esports competition set to debut in Riyadh from 2 to 29 November.
The ENC will introduce national team representation to the global esports calendar in a structured, recurring format, allowing players to compete under their national flags while giving fans a new way to engage with esports through national identity.
The confirmed titles are: Chess, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, EA SPORTS FC, Fatal Fury, Honor of Kings, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Trackmania. Eight additional titles are set to be announced in the coming weeks to complete the 16-game programme for the inaugural edition.
Details of the confirmed titles:
* Chess (2–8 November): The tournament will feature 128 players, giving an unprecedented number of nations the opportunity to compete as the game continues to evolve as an esport.
* Counter-Strike 2 (10–15 November): The event will be supported by an open qualification programme featuring more than 15,000 players across 3,000 teams.
* Dota 2 (2–8 November): A total of 32 national teams will qualify through rankings, regional qualifiers, and wildcard entries to contest the main event.
* EA SPORTS FC (17–22 November): The competition will feature 128 players representing their countries, with qualification through open in-game pathways, regional qualifiers, and direct invites via the EA SPORTS FC Pro World Rankings.
* Fatal Fury (12–15 November): The tournament will include 32 players, each representing their nation, in a new format aimed at supporting emerging talent within the fighting game community.
* Honor of Kings (24–29 November): The event will feature 24 national teams selected through the ENC National Team Ranking and regional qualifiers, culminating in a single-elimination playoff to crown the champions.
* Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (23–29 November): A total of 32 national teams will compete through a round-robin group stage followed by a single-elimination playoff during the final week of the event.
* Trackmania (19–22 November): The competition will see 32 national representatives battle in the title’s signature 1v1v1v1 Cup Mode.
